PedalBox gives the e-car more speed

Vacation trips or excursions, the Audi e-Tron has a long range of up to 440k and is thus not only suitable for long distances, but also efficient. With the Audi e-Tron GT quattro, however, driving pleasure and performance come first. With a slightly lower range of 370kph, however, the luxury sports coupe can score with power and speed. To bring even more adrenaline kick when accelerating in the electric coupe, DTE has equipped the Audi with a PedalBox. The gas pedal tuning provides an extra sprint forward and lets the e-car dominate the roads.

Audi e-Tron - The electric car of the future

The electric vehicle developed by Audi is already equipped as a more affordable class with three different electric motorizations. An e-tron 50 quattro with 313 hp system output and 540 Nm, an e-Tron 55 quattro with a system output of up to 408 hp and 664 Nm and a powerful e-tron S with a total of 503 POS system output and 973 Nm. In terms of acceleration, the e-car achieves 5.1 seconds from 0 -100 km/h in the sportiest variant. As an upper class, the Audi e-Tron GT and Audi RS e-Tron GT put forward with a system output of 476 hp and 630 Nm and 598 hp and 830 Nm. The real power is in boost mode with 530 hp and 646 hp. Both vehicles are equipped with electric all-wheel drive and front-wheel and all-wheel steering. With a large storage space of trunk and interior, as well as a payload of just under 440 kg and a trailer load of 650 kg, the Audi e-Tron offers everything to be used for longer trips with the family despite being a sports coupe.

The full power is not immediately available, even with electric vehicles. But to make use of it, the DTE developers have adapted and redeveloped their gas pedal tuning for the electric Audi. In the process, the Audi e-Tron not only gets more boost at the start, but also better acceleration while driving. After installation via Plug&Play, the Audi e-Tron is ready to start and the gas pedal tuning is immediately ready for use. PedalBox thereby adapts the response behavior entirely to the driver's wishes. Here, the driving behavior can be adapted to any situation by means of the programs Series, Sport, Sport-Plus and City. Within the programs, the Audi driver can also fine-tune the programs to have optimum acceleration for every situation. The Audi e-Tron thus benefits from even more driving pleasure, even better acceleration when overtaking on the highway, country road or in everyday traffic.
